Lot Description  

1948 Posed photograph of the two star pitchers of the Boston Braves that spawned the phrase "Spahn and Sain then Pray for Rain." A fantastic image from photographer George Woodruff and issued from the International News, this is only the second example of this photo we have seen. Photo is bold and beautiful.
