Original 1924-26 photograph of Red Sox youngster Charles "Red" Ruffing taken by the master photographer Charles Conlon. The uniforms used by the Red Sox were identical between 1924-26 and the date stamp on back is secondary. This photo is most likely from 1924 judging by Ruffing's appearance and the photo itself, but it could be from any of the aforementioned years. It has pinholes, a crease and some artistic additions to the background, but it is a quality Rookie Image by the greatest Baseball Photographer of all time! PSA authenticated as a Type 1 and they mentioned the secondary stamp on the back but not the Conlon markings for some reason, but Conlon took the photo, the Central Press was a stock service without their own photographers from our experience.
