Dazzy Vance is a weird anomaly in the history of Baseball. He broke into the Major Leagues in 1915 and was pretty bad. He re-emerged in 1922 but toiled in mediocrity for a few more years before his breakout season in 1924 when he would romp over the National League to the tune of a 28-6 record while leading the League in ERA and Strikeouts (winning The Pitching Triple Crown). The offered image is from this breakout season, issued by the Keystone View Company, and it features a great portrait pose of Vance in Brooklyn uniform. The photo has a few spots of clear tape at the corners from publication but otherwise it is pretty nice with a clear image.
