1963 Artistic photograph of Mickey Mantle posing at Yankee Stadium with his bat and gazing over the land over which he was King! The photographer has artfully positioned himself behind Mantle, just as Nat Fein did to Babe Ruth a decade and a half earlier, to illustrate his uniform number. Slabbed by PSA as a "Type 1" this was issued by the United Press and stamped on the back. One of the most impressive Mantle images we have handled and certainly one of the most aesthetically pleasing.
