Today Batman is the most iconic of all super heroes, but in 1943 when this photo was issued to promote his first ever film, he was the new kid on the block. The photo shows three police officers and the famous "Commissioner" as they are in the bat cave looking for the caped crusader. Condition and quality are both outstanding and this is the only image of the film serial we have ever handled!
