In 1919 Rollie Naylor was perhaps the most unlucky pitcher in baseball. He started 31 games and posted an ERA of 3.34, not bad. His team though was terrible and that got him a record of 5-17! Here he is during spring training the next year hoping for better things to come and flashing a huge smile while wearing his team warm-up sweater. A rare image in fine condition overall and probably his largest and finest piece of photography that exists!
