Original LARGE 1917 silver gelatin original photograph of Chicago White Sox ace pitcher Eddie Cicotte in uniform and warming up at the ballpark. Issued by the American Press Association and stamped on the back with the date, this is a crisp and clean example that is among his best images ever taken and dated from the year the White Sox won it all! While the photo has some corner clipping and paint added (purposefully done for publication in a newspaper 100 years ago) the image of Cicotte stands out quite well.
