Large 1920 (dated) portrait photograph of deadball era star third baseman Jimmie Auston. He is more widely recognized today as "the other guy" in the famous Charles Conlon photograph of Ty Cobb sliding into third base, but in his time Auston was widely considered one of the best in the game at his spot! Condition is quite nice and it is easily among the best Austin images in the hobby! This photo sold for $278 in our March 2014 Auction.
