Barbara La Marr was one of Hollywood's first casualties from substance abuse and one of it's brightest stars of the 1920's. The pre-eminent "Vamp" she lived a hard life of drinking and drug abuse that led to her early death in 1926. Offered here is a beautiful and seductive studio photo from her role in which she also co-wrote "The Shooting of Dan McGrew". A rare silver gelatin piece of photography from one of Hollywood's most tragic figures.
