Incredible piece of film history, this is an important 1922 photograph for three reasons. First, it portrays tragic actor Wallace Reid in one of his last films before dying of a drug overdose the next year, becoming one of the first film icons to die from drug issues. Second, it captures an early "behind the scenes" look at actors and actresses taking a lunch break in costume. Third, this is from the film "Across the Continent" which was one of the first films to center around automobile racing! All things considered, this is an important piece of Hollywood history!
