1934 Photograph of a trio of favorites at the U.S. Open as they prepared for the opening of the tournament. Included in the image are Gene Sarazen, Bobby Cruickshank and Leo Diegel. Sarazen would finish second, Cruickshank would finish third, but the championship would rest with Olin Dutra. A nearly perfect example from the International News and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well.
