Beautiful 1949 action photograph showing the Boston Bruins and New York Rangers battling it out in front of the Bruins net. Fern Flamin, the Hall of Fame defense artist from the Bruins, helps out his goalie, Jack Gelineau, while Slowinski from the Rangers lets a shot go. Photo is beautiful and bold with nice detail for a hockey action image with one tack hole and a piece of tape on the far left being the only flaw. Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with handwritten identifications as well.
