1919 White Sox Pitcher Claude "Lefty" Williams in action from Spring Training 1918 with the White Sox. Lefty was one of the eight men banned from Baseball after throwing the World Series against the Cincinnati Reds. He was both a major part of the White Sox success during the season and an integral part of the fix! His images are extremely tough to find and this is an absolute beauty which is almost certainly the only example on the planet. Condition is nice with one tiny crease and an extremely light pinhole on the bottom left corner. Quality and clarity are both outstanding and this is one of the nicest images of Williams in uniform we have ever seen. Reverse has a nice identification and a stamp from NEA with date.
