Lot Description  

1914 Photograph of manager George Stallings from the improbable World Series Champion Boston Braves. Impressive portrait photo in amazing hat and smiling for the camera. One of his best images! Photo has a small corner chip and a pinhole as well as some artistic enhancements around his head. Stallings was one of the more popular figures of his era and this is one of his largest images we have handled and stamped on the back by the Boston News Co.
