Incredible 1908 photograph of early Cuban star Valentin "Sirique" Gonzalez in uniform with the Almendares club and warming up before a game. Despite some handling wear, this is one of the earliest images of Cuban baseball we have ever handled. A silver gelatin original with minimal handling wear, this might be a slightly later (1910's-1920's) example but is still a 100 year old piece of photography.
