Lot Description  

1928 Team photo of the New York Yankees in uniform on the verge of their second straight world series championship. Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig lead the way and this is a spectacular image from the International News and stamped on the back as well. A rare team photo that you almost never see and the condition is not bad with some light creasing and handling wear. Reverse has a full paper caption that identifies all the players and executives.
