Head to toe batting photograph of one of the greatest hitters of his era and the key to the 1919 Reds offense Edd Roush in full uniform. Posed forever here in suspended animation, the photographer Paul Thompson has captured Roush at the exact pinnacle of his swing while his follow through hold the path of his cut and Edd watches the ball sail into the outfield. A fantastic clear piece of prewar photography with the stamp of a master on the back. This is a new discovery being offered here for the first time we believe and it presents well with note to pinholes at the corners.
