1919 Silver gelatin photograph of star pitcher from the Cincinnati Reds Horace "Hod" Eller as he was photographed on the verge of the World Series against the Chicago White Sox. This would be the infamous "Black Sox" series that would catapult the Reds to victory as members of the Sox intentionally lost and were paid off by gamblers. A crystal clear original from George Grantham Bain, this is a fine specimen in nearly perfect condition!
