Lot Description  

The 1914 Miracle Braves are one of the most popular and storied champions of the 20th century. A pretty bad team that went on a legendary run, they were led by Manager Johnny Evers and sensational young shortstop Rabbit Maranville. Here the Braves are trying to repeat as champions during Spring Training 1915 as Maranville takes his hacks while Evers looks on. Issued by the International News and stamped on the back, this has an early paper caption on the back as well.
