Incredible 1914 portrait photograph of young pitching star for the Boston Red Sox Rube Foster in uniform and striking an intimidating glare for famous photographer Paul Thompson. Stamped by Harris and Ewing (another famous photo company) the photo has a stamp on the back that clearly identifies the original photographer as Thompson making this a special piece of baseball photography. Baseball card size, this is a really rare early image in great condition! He and that Ruth guy made quite a one-two punch for the Red Sox!
