1911 Photograph of Otis "Doc" Crandall as he poses in his World Series black uniform and bat, ready for action. Taken by famous photographer Charles Conlon and stamped on the back along with the date and a secondary stamp from the New York Herald, this is one of Crandall's best images. Note the two spots that look like damage are flaws in the original negative and are not actual damage to the photo gelatin surface.
