1909 George Grantham Bain action photograph of the veteran pitcher Clark Griffith of the Cincinnati Reds as he was winding down his career but set for bigger things as a manager. Pictured in his Reds uniform, he only pitched for them in 1909 and the image was taken by photographer George Grantham Bain and it bears his stamp and a date file mark of 1911 as well. A rare image of Griffith on the mound and from an important photographer as well.
