Lot Description  

1945 Photograph of young superstar from San Juan Monte Irvin as he poses with Luke Easter the prodigious power hitter from Mayaquez before a game in Puerto Rico. Pre-dating his rookie baseball card by SIX YEARS this is one of the best images of Irvin we have ever seen, especially since he is posing with a fellow superstar on the field. A beautiful condition silver gelatin original, this is the first time this photo has been offered to the public.
