1934 Sweeping horizontal photograph of the home of the St. Louis Cardinals, Sportsman's Park as it appeared during the last home game of the World Series. A fantastic image showing the Cardinals pitcher Dizzy Dean at the moment he released the ball. Despite pitching a good game, the Tigers won but the Cardinals would get the last laugh. Issued by Acme and stamped on the back along with a full paper caption, this is one of the best images of this iconic ballpark we have seen especially with Dean on the mound!
