Large original 1912 glass plate negative of the Chicago White Sox team as they pose at the ballpark. A completely unique piece of history, this is a large item for glass plates of the day and it presents well with one corner break being the only flaw. The team was a good one as it boasted Ed Walsh, Buck Weaver, Kid Gleason, Ed Cicotte, a young rookie named Ray Schalk and a ton of other T206 and deadball era stars. Of particular interest is the guy clowning around with the bat on the upper right corner! A piece of baseball history that we believe to be a new discovery! Note the negative has been made into a high quality 8X10 glossy print that will be included to the winner as well so winner will get the original 1912 glass negative and a modern print professionally made from it.
