Large and detailed portrait photograph of young Hall of Famer Al Simmons. Among the greatest hitters to ever play the game, he absolutely tore up the American League throughout the 1920's! Issued by NEA from early in 1925 (his second year in the Major Leagues) and it predates any of his Baseball Cards. The quality is off the charts! Stamped on the back and condition is not bad with a corner clip, a small tear on the left side and some remnants of artistic enhancements done by the newspaper. One of the best Simmons images out there.
