One of the most incredible and lasting images ever taken on the diamond is that of a pensive Lou Gehrig as he recounts his days with the New York Yankees, proclaiming himself "the luckiest man on the face of the earth" despite a terminal illness. A rare image in any form, this is a vintage original that dates to 1939 which is one of the only ones we have ever seen. A fine example with some wear to the upper right corner, this is one of the only original 1939 specimens we have ever seen in any form!
