1939 Racing action photograph of Louis Zamperini, the man whose life was so incredible that it had to be a major motion picture! A track star, war hero, and incredible story of redemption; Zamperini lived what can only be described as one of the most unbelievable tales of survival and human resolve in modern times. Issued by the International News and with a full paper caption on the back as well, this is a wonderful image from several years before he would enter into the War. Photo is in nice shape overall with a small spot of damage on the upper right corner. One of his best!
