George Kelly was one of the top first baseman of the 1920's and his career ultimately put him in the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. During the end of the 1930 season when the Chicago Cubs found themselves in the thick of a pennant race, they turned to newly acquired Kelly to take them to the next level. Here the superstar is seen in full uniform at Wrigley Field and striking a pose in front of the famed brick outfield wall. While Kelly would do his part (batting .331 for the Cubs) the North Siders would ultimately fall short of their pennant desires. The offered image is a huge example from Acme that grades a perfect 10/10!
