Stunning 1928 photograph of the four power hitters of the St. Louis Cardinals as they head into the World Series against the New York Yankees. Led by a trio of Hall of Famers (Bottomley, Hafey, Frisch) they are joined by slugging outfielder George Harper as well. Issued by Underwood and Underwood and stamped on the back, this is one of the best pieces of baseball photography that we have offered from the era and it remains here in fantastic condition!
