During the decade of the 1910's there was no better outfield than that sported by the Boston Red Sox. The trio of Tris Speaker, Harry Hooper and Duffy Lewis was so famous they got the nickname of the "Golden Outfield" or the "Million Dollar Outfield." While the group was as famous as any from the era, there are only a few images ever taken of them with this being the best by far. Reproduced a million times, this is the only original we remember seeing and it presents extremely well. Taken in 1930 when the boys were still playing but for different teams. A special piece of baseball history in great shape.
