Lot Description  

Large 1943 official Maine Corps photograph of soldiers dug in on Guadalcanal before one of the bloodiest and most important encounters of WWII. A clean and bold image in nice shape, this really speaks to the uncomfortable living conditions and tension of the soldiers fighting for our freedom.
