1916 Was a turning point for America and for President Woodrow Wilson. He was the champion of peace and after one of the most successful first terms in American history, he won re-election on his "America First" platform, refusing to enter WWI. His second term after 1916 would be a different story. Wilson would reneg on some of his biggest promises and enter the War after all cementing his place in history as one of the two-term Presidents with polar opposite tenures in office. The offered studio photograph from Moffett of Chicago has been mounted (cabinet photo style) and with some editorial enhancements that look beautiful for publication. A fine piece of Presidential photography that displays well despite the wear and damage to the edges.
