Lot Description  

1931 Photograph of Amelia Earhart climbing into her Beech Nut "Autogyro" and posing for the camera. At the time this was taken, Earhart was engaged on a transcontinental tour in the Gyro. Large silver gelatin image is in great shape with absolutely wonderful clarity and quality! One of the best Earhart images we have ever seen! Issued by Acme and stamped on the back with a full paper caption as well. Also in the photo is her husband George Putnam!
