Large 1937 photograph of the greatest boxer of his era Joe Louis as he strikes a pensive pose in the locker room. With his hands taped, Louis is ready to go and seems to be planning the attack, left alone to his thoughts, but striking a spectacular pose for the camera. Issued by the Central Press and stamped on the back, the photo looks beautiful but it does have some pinholes from publication. Dated August 18, 1937 this photo was taken on the eve of his fight with Jimmy Braddock which is the one that gave the Brown Bomber his first title!
