Incredible horizontal photograph dated July 20, 1932 of Mildred "Babe" Didrikson as she throws a baseball for distance at an event that was surely a tune up for the upcoming Olympic Games. Didrikson would become a household name a month after this image was taken, but at this moment she was a relative obscurity with only potential and a few fans! Sweeping image with tremendous detail, this is one of the earliest and best photographs of Didrikson we know of!
