1930 Horizontal action photo showing Frank Wykoff of USC as he takes the 100 meter finals at the finish line at Stagg Field. The man he beat was Olympic Champion Eddie Tolan (far right) and according to the paper caption Wykoff also set a world record in this race. An interesting photo taken right between two Olympic Games, Wykoff already had a gold medal in his closet and he would win two more over the next six years while Tolan had two gold medals in his future! Issued by the International News and with a detailed paper caption.
