1928 Photograph of young 16 year old athlete Jean Shiley as she demonstrated her form in the high jump at the Olympic Trials. One of the favorites for the event, she would finish fourth but at the next games in 1932 she would beat Babe Didrikson and win the gold medal! A rare image that is the earliest of Shiley we have ever seen. Issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a complete paper caption as well.
