Lot Description  

Large and detailed 1930 artistic close up of the Havemeyer Cup which was the trophy given to the US Amateur Champion. This was also the final feather in Bobby Jones' cap when this photo was taken as he needed it to finalize his "Grand Slam". This is one of the only close up images of a major golf trophy we have ever seen. Issued by the Associated Press and in great condition.
