1924 Photograph of early golf stars Jesse Guilford and Cyril Walker as the two were among the leaders at the U.S. Open qualifying. An interesting photo as it mentions Walker was down the line and seemed unlikely to qualify, but he would not only make the tournament but beat Bobby Jones and win the whole thing! A cool and important early piece of golf history issued by the United Press and despite some wear and a crease on the left side it remains an attractive example.
