1922 Silver gelatin photograph of golfers Jock Hutchison and Johnny Farrell as they clash at the Columbia Country Club in Washington DC. Hutchison was the reigning British Open Champion and Farrell was one of the hot youngsters on his heels. On this day, age came before youth as Hutchison would win the match. Unusual photo which is almost certainly a new discovery from a local Washington DC News Bureau and stamped on the back. Crystal clear and an exceptional early image in nice condition with some mild wear to the corners.
