Touching 1961 photograph showing two of the better welterweight boxers of the era Benny "Kid" Paret and his challenger Emile Griffith as they square off. The next year (1962) would see the two square off again in one of the most tragic matches of all time as Griffith would pummel Paret who would eventually die from his injuries. A dramatic image in perfect condition issued by the United Press and with a full paper caption on the back.
