Intense 1941 photograph of Heavyweight Champion of the World Joe Louis as he lay on what looks like an operating table but in actuality he was getting his physical exam before induction into the Army. Issued by Wide World Photos and in great shape, this is one we have never seen before and it is very clear. Louis had quite the audience considering this is a somewhat private affair!
