In 1902 people were starting to catch on to how good the University of Michigan football team was. By 1903, the whole world knew they were the greatest assemblage of talent ever to grace the gridiron. The "point a minute" squad led by Willie Heston would dominate the regular season and blow out their opponent in the Rose Bowl. So great was their accomplishment that 36 years later Fielding Yost was still reflecting on the team and talking about its exploits. Here we see the Michigan Hall of Famer pointing to his own image in a super sized Michigan team photo from that season. A really cool item that is sure to excite even the most casual fan, issued by the International News and stamped on the back with a full paper caption.
