In what must have seemed like a bad dream, former Brooklyn Dodgers Hall of Fame manager Leo Durocher emerges from the GIANTS dugout at Ebbets Field and gets the "once over" from fans and even the groundskeepers as he emerges. A surreal moment in baseball history, Durocher was suspended in 1947 and then jumped ship to the cross-town rivals the next year. A great photo from the New York Daily News that has a paper caption on the back and presents well with some light corner creasing.
